The Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS) operates as the core government executive body responsible for maintaining industrial relations, regulating employment standards, and executing national social welfare protection across Jamaica. Through its specialized divisions, the ministry oversees wage regulations, occupational safety standards, dispute resolution via the Industrial Disputes Tribunal, and the administration of overseas farm work and hospitality employment programs.
