Accounting clerks handle the day-to-day ledger work - posting invoices, reconciling accounts, chasing payments and preparing the schedules a qualified accountant signs off. CSEC passes including mathematics and principles of accounts are the usual minimum, with an associate degree or ACCA foundation papers helping. It is one of the most widely advertised office roles in the region, across retail, distribution, hospitality, government and professional practices.
