Auditors test whether an organisation's accounts and controls say what they claim, either from a practice firm looking in or from an internal audit function. ACCA or CPA qualification, or progress towards it, is the standard requirement, and internal auditors often add CIA certification. The Big Four and regional practice firms hire heavily at graduate level, alongside internal audit teams in banks, insurers, utilities and government.
