Front desk agents check guests in and out, handle payment, room changes and complaints, and are the person a guest asks about everything else. CSEC passes with strong spoken English are the common requirement, and hospitality certificates from HEART/NSTA Trust or a hotel school are an advantage. Resorts, business hotels and guest houses hire for it, and it is a frequent entry point into hotel operations.
