Merchandisers keep a brand's products stocked, faced and correctly priced in retail outlets, and report back on competitor activity and shelf share. CSEC passes and a driver's licence are the usual requirements, with the role involving a daily route between stores. Distributors and manufacturers of food, beverage, household and personal care goods are the employers, which in this region means the large distribution houses.
