Product managers decide what gets built and in what order, working between customers, engineering and the commercial side, and are accountable for whether the result was worth building. There is no single qualification route - most come in from business analysis, engineering or marketing, and a degree plus demonstrable shipped product is what employers look for. Fintech, banking, telecoms and the region's software firms are where the roles sit.
