Servers take orders, run food and drink, and handle the table from seating to payment, working rostered shifts that in resorts run across several outlets. Entry requirements are modest - CSEC passes and clear spoken English - with HEART/NSTA Trust food and beverage certification an advantage. Resorts, hotels and restaurants are the employers, and the role is the common way into food and beverage supervision.
