UX/UI Designer

1 report across 1 company

UX/UI designers research how people actually use a product, then design the flows, screens and components that make it work, usually maintaining a design system alongside. Employers weight a portfolio far above any particular qualification, though design, computing or communications backgrounds are common. Agencies, outsourcing and product firms hire most of them, with in-house teams at banks and telecoms making up the rest.
